本文旨在为读者介绍现阶段西非地区旅游业面临的挑战和风险，如果说在疫情之前，西非旅游发展靠的是天然的地理优势和相对低廉的价格，那么经过疫情考验后，打造富有特色的旅游协作体系，开发具有高附加值的旅游产品，推动旅游业转型升级，则是西非旅游业再次腾飞的基础。文章内容参考了联合国、非盟、非洲开发银行等机构对西非各国在疫情下复苏经济的分析和报告，特别是冈比亚所做的努力和尝试。今后，让我们继续追踪包括冈比亚在内的西非各国旅游业的复苏历程。
